Leonardo’s Teaching & Learning Workshop is an education and play design consulting agency that serves museums, schools, nature centers, libraries, parks departments, and businesses.

Design & Education Consulting: Leonardo’s specializes in planning, research, development, and design of innovative, interactive learning and play environments, hands-on educational products and experiences, and STEAM curriculum for K – 12. See Services for more information.

Professional Development: For K – 12 educators, schools, and businesses, Leonardo's provides, STEAM and Design Thinking Professional Learning Opportunities that develop skills in creativity, empathy, problem solving, critical thinking and making, trans-literacy, and communication. Educators, experience first-hand exciting and authentic STEAM lessons that can be delivered in your classroom. Participants earn Professional Learning Units (PLUs). One hour = one PLU. Corporate Training: For groups of people of any age and discipline, or setting (academic, business, conference, museum, and more). Design Thinkshop is an interactive hands-on and minds-on experience that ignites essential questions. Participants engage in facilitated design challenges that include a meaningful making/creating experience. Seeking to stimulate curiosity, launch investigation, and build thinking and teamwork skills, the integrated curriculum includes a variety of synthesizing activities, such as inquiry, reflection, expansion, visualization, iteration, formulation, critique, and presentation. Cross-disciplinary programs focus on themes including but not limited to ideation, collaboration, empathy, communication, engineering, drawing, spatial modeling, and design thinking. See PD & Corporate Training for more information or contact us about scheduling creativity training to your organization.
